This was a fun and fulfilling project–something we were happy to do for the Philadelphia Horticultural Society, whose educational and community outreach are much appreciated in this region.

The premise was simple, but novel: transform the street outside Reading Terminal into a grassy field for the annual pre-Flower Show picnic. It took about two hours, ten hard-working professionals, and 7500 sq ft of sod, but in the end we had a great new setting for a day of family fun. And no long term turf care necessary either! It was a rewarding experience, and one we’d happily do again!
