Personal Golf Course – Penn Valley, PA

With beautiful swaths of colorful perennials and an array of classic evergreens lining the perimeter, this backyard golf course in Penn Valley, PA was a joy to create. Our landscape architecture and design team worked hard to incorporate a sizable putting green into an otherwise “natural” design without disturbing the tranquility and intimacy provided by all the flowing native plantings and trees.

You’ll notice a peaceful, natural stone pond and environmentally-friendly rain garden along the edges of the backyard, which can be traversed via a charming little foot bridge custom-built for the landscape. These features were included both for their aesthetic properties and stormwater management benefits, which help ensure yard drainage and runoff will not be an issue in the future.  Along with all of the native plants installed, they also help create an environment more attractive to local wildlife and pollinators… Something especially important these days!
